It is the fourth installment of Shetty's Police Universe and features Akshay Kumar as the titular. Ajay Devgnand Ranveer Singh reprise their roles of Bajirao Singham and Sangaram Bhalerao (Simmba) from the franchise's previous films Singham and Simmba in cameo appearances.
